Going Green

Here's how we help:

  • We recycle all plastic, aluminum (and other metals), cardboard, and even concrete from our jobsites

  • Even cabinets and appliances are recycled by being donated to homes in which they're needed

  • We encourage low energy use practices in our homes, office, on jobsites and to our customers which we service. Low-wattage bulbs, energy efficient windows and insulation not only save on energy, but also save on your bills as well.

Andersen Windows

offers a large selection of standard and customizable windows with great efficiency while staying extremely affordable.

Faith Home encourages the inclusion of energy efficient appliances in your design

Certainteed
insulation is GreenGuard certified, meaning high efficiency and low product emissions.

We also want you to think about what is reasonable as far as upgrading your home to become more energy efficient. Changing out high-wattage incandescent bulbs for low-wattage flourescent bulbs are a great way to start. But what about windows? Insulation? What is required to replace them? Replacing all of your windows may save on energy bills, but what about the initial cost, or the trash accumulated by your old windows?

Maybe placing solar panels all over your roof and wind-powered generators in your front yard to power your home aren't necessarily cost effective (or aesthetically pleasing), but maybe when thinking about remodeling, you'll at least consider your windows and appliances and their factor on your environment. Decide what is reasonable within your budget and desires to improve your lifestyle.
