FAQ
Faith Home Remodeling has been remodeling homes since 1974, and since then has built an unbeatable reputation in quality and service. Through the decades of serving our customers, we have had repeated questions and concerns about the design process, timing, and control of the jobsite. Here are some of the questions we receive:
A: Here at Faith Home, we try our best to make the process of beautifying your home
as easy and smooth as possible. With our talented staff-from our personal Architect designing your remodeling project to suit your wants and needs, to our men in the field answering all of your concerns and questions, to our independent subcontractors-Faith Home handles all of the matters involved with every project, so that you may enjoy the transformation of your home.
A: We service all of Howard County and some of the surrounding areas. Through staying close, we develop long-term relationships with all our customers and are able to better serve them by answering quickly and taking care of them promptly.
A: Each job is unique, therefore the cost highly depends on the existing site, size, and elements you choose. We can give you a rough idea when we come to take an initial look and find out what you would like done, but will provide you a more accurate and detailed esimate once our Architect designs your project and includes the materials and features you decide upon.
A: No. We will be happy to visit your home to discuss your desires and the feasibility of your project.
A: Our full-time architect will come and meet you and discuss your vision for what you would like your home to become. We make our initial visits between 8am and 3pm, Monday through Friday, for our nights and weekends are simply devoted for time spent with our families.
A: We use our own carpenters for all of the general work, but when needing a lot of work done in specified fields like electrical or plumbing, we use subcontractors to complete the job. Just as we do with our customers, we establish long-term relationships with our subcontractors, and several of our subs have worked with us for over 10 years.
A: Throughout the process, you will be asked to make decisions on various items and
materials. Your Project Manager will inform you of when these decisions need to be made, so that you may make your decision on the materials before the time comes for them to be installed. The timliness of your decision can have a significant inpact on the course and completion of your job.
A: Your Project Manager will keep you informed of all the activity that will be going on
and also how the schedule will be for deliveries being made, subcontractors coming in, and decisions that need to be made.
A: Many times our customers ask us to take care of unrelated items throughout their home while we are there. In many cases, this won't be a problem-just notify your project manager of any additional items and our staff can give you an estimate to complete these tasks. If the task would take a significant amount of time to complete, we may need to come back and take care of it at a later time.
