From the beginning, Faith Home
Remodeling has maintained certain principles that have allowed the
company to grow and prosper through the years. With strong Christian
ideals, Faith Home has always worked towards building an honest,
reliable, trustworthy company that produces quality work.
Jon
Jackson began Faith Home Repair Services in 1974. For many years, it
was a one-man operation specializing in maintenance and repairs. As
the company began to grow, both in number of employees and size of
jobs, Jon began to work together with an independent contractor, Pat
Collins. Eventually, in 1982, the two joined forces under the Faith
Home name. Pat managed production while allowing Jon to focus his time
on sales.

Since
1982 the company steadily grew, maximizing the talents of both owners.
The combination of personalities; Jon the dreamer and Pat the realist;
kept Faith Home on stable ground.
In 1998, Faith Home
experienced its most significant transition. Jon Jackson chose to
retire from his career in the remodeling industry to pursue a second
vocation in the ministry. In June of 1998, Pat Collins became the full
owner of Faith Home and he immediately began guiding the company
towards a new vision, to allow Faith Home Remodeling to grow so that
present and future employees will always have a secure place to be
employees with growth opportunity.
Faith Home still continues to
establish certain restrictions for its potential projects. The focus
is to concentrate on the company’s talents, which includes additions,
kitchens, baths and basements as well as certain repair services. Limiting
projects to within 30 minutes of the central office places further
restrictions. This situates the majority of work in the western
Baltimore County and Howard County areas.
To date, Faith Home
has received 21 Contractor of the Year awards, including “1994 Best
Overall Residential Remodeling” project and in the induction into
Remodeling Magazine’s Big 50 in 1995. Faith Home has also been voted Best in Howard County in 2005, 2006, and 2007.
